KUALA LUMPUR -- Ranhill Utilities Berhad’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Hedzir Hanafi has been appointed Deputy President of the National Association of Independent Power Producers Malaysia (Penjanabebas) for the 2026/2027 term.

The appointment was concluded during the association's 26th Annual General Meeting, which brought together industry leaders to discuss strategic initiatives, partnerships, national energy security, and energy affordability and sustainability.

Mohd Hedzir’s new role reflects his leadership within the energy industry and reinforces Ranhill's ongoing contributions to Malaysia's power and energy sector.
